  Ladies & Gentlemen, I review a lot of restaurants and I've been to a great many wonderful places in Fairfield County, CT as well as Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties in NY and many other places all over the US. If it's anything that i know, it's good food. Terra has good food. Not great food, but good food. First impression, walking in is that they try very very hard to be "UPPER CLASS". It's a pretty place, very pretty, but it lacks warmth. Our sever, Edgar, was wonderful in every way, but you can tell that they train there servers to be excessively subservient and that, when overdone, can be ... well, overdone and not genuine. Here was my first problem, no bread basket on the table. You have to request it and a server comes over with a large basket and you request which piece of bread you would like. That's it, then they go away. WHAT? if I want more, I have to flag someone down??? Nooo, say it isn't so. We started off with the fried calamari. It was very good. Then I had the flat iron steak, cooked to perfection and very good. My husband had the kobe beef and spinach stuffed ravioli which was made with what seemed like home made pasta, but it was tough and chewy. The filling was great, but it was a tad too eclectic in flavor. We had no drinks and the bill, for this area, was outrageous. Way overpriced!! Now, if you are coming in from out of town and you are staying at the Zero Degrees Hotel and don't have the time to go out looking around, then Terra is good for dinner. That, however, would be the only reason that I would go back. Not my favorite. Sorry.

  Food was great. Awesome drinks. In my opinion too pricey for this area.
